When a child or young person is unable to access mainstream school for reasons including school exclusion, behavioural issues, or illness, education outside of school will be arranged.
This education is called alternative provision.
At A1 Personal Development, we provide coaching and mentoring services either one-on-one or to small groups. Our primary aim is to support children, and in some instances, teachers and parents, by assisting and potentially facilitating their reintegration into mainstream education. We also assist with full-time and part-time employment, volunteering, apprenticeship schemes, or personal centres.
Our approach is tailored to the specific requirements of each child and family. We employ a variety of methods, including one-on-one coaching, mentoring, small workshops, and community outings. These outings often involve sports, socializing, and interaction with different groups of people. These activities are designed to develop the emotional intelligence of the children and help them feel part of something again.
